c.1954 Bandai, Jaguar XK140 Convertible in Original Box
Gorgeous mandarin orange/red Jaguar XK140 Convertible; tin litho roadster with friction drive motor complete with original box. Overall it grades near mint- (minus). Tin litho auto with embossed fenders, doors, hood divider, tail lights, and rear trunk. Single bench seat interior is yellow, blue, and white, and marked Made In Japan. Also includes lithoed dashboard and metal steering wheel. Chassis is single plate, solid black, and embossed. Front and rear bumpers are chrome plated with separately attached licensed plates. Classic Jaguar front grill is a separate part. Front head lights are also chrome plated. Divided windshield and front fender ornaments are polished tin. Windshield is original celluloid. Tires are solid black rubber with metal polished tin wheel covers. Color illustrated box shows hardtop coupe model. Bandai trademark printed in lower right corner. Front and rear aprons show similar graphics as the cover. Side aprons are text only. Size: 6". Sold: Apr. 2009
